Principal for a Day (Mr. Oliver)

Today, Forest Grove had a new principal, and holy cow was he ever popular.

He started the day making announcements where he gave fun facts about animals.  Then he did some order of supplies, inspected the hot water tank, and pumped up balls in the equipment room.

He also surprised the school with an extra 15 minutes of recess, no homework for intermediates, more play time for primaries, and treats for the staff.

In the afternoon, he was even able to arrange for a special popcorn viewing for Ms. Ma’s class.

Overall, Mr. Oliver says, “I like being principal, but I don’t like wearing the vest for supervision”.

Thanks for being a great principal Mr. Oliver!
