We had the privilege of having Alice Gus with us today. She is an elder from the Squamish nation. She shared welcome songs with the whole school and then she worked with the intermediate students.
She shared the importance of the cedar trees and students wove a bookmark or bracelet using cedar. Primary students will be weaving with wool.
