Long Range Planning – Share Your Voice

Dear Forest Grove Families

Following up on the email sent to you by the Burnaby School District on January 18, you’re invited to a public meeting on February 15 to share your voice, as we prepare for population growth and what tomorrow’s students will need in schools.

How to attend the Cariboo Lougheed Zone Public Meeting (which includes our school)?

  • drop-in anytime from 5-8pm on Wednesday February 15
  • at the District Administration Office located at 4054 Norfolk Street, Burnaby

What’s this about?

The District is creating a fulsome strategy called a Long-Range Facility Plan. We’re seeking your input as plans are developed for new and existing school buildings to accommodate projected population increases in Burnaby and more. Additional details can be found in the following link about anticipated growth, challenges and potential solutions in the area in which our school is located (Cariboo Lougheed Zone).

What other ways can feedback be shared?

The meeting on February 15 is focused on the current and future needs of the educational zone in which our school resides. There is also a way to share your feedback online.

To share your input and thoughts electronically, join the conversation on ThoughtExchange about the Cariboo Lougheed Zone by clicking on the link below:
